This home on Orchard Trail in Toledo had been experiencing issues with peeling paint for years. The owner was unsure what was causing this to happen. For a long time, it didn't seem to be anything more than an inconvenience. This was until he noticed the carpet getting wet after a recent rain storm. Upon inspection it was discovered that his basement walls were holding a significant amount of moisture. This was shown by the efflorescence process that had been taking place for years.
