Foundation Wall Repairs

Foundation wall repairs using wall anchors are the preferred method for restoring structural integrity to bowing basement walls. When external soil saturation exerts immense lateral pressure, walls will crack, bow, and lean inward, compromising the structural integrity of a basement wall. While carbon fiber straps can effectively stabilize a wall in some cases by locking it in place to prevent further movement, they cannot correct the structural bowing that has already occurred.

Wall anchors are the most effective method of stabilizing a bowing wall, by providing active resistance and enabling the wall to be pulled back to plumb. By connecting interior steel plates to heavy-duty earth anchors driven deep into stable yard soil, this system leverages external stable strata. Tightening the anchor rods pulls the wall back toward its original straight position. This movement closes structural cracks, and gives your basement wall the structural integrity it needs, thereby providing a permanent solution for your home.
