Wall Anchors

Wall anchors are a permanent structural stabilization system designed to stop basement walls from bowing, cracking, and shifting inward. Over time, excessive soil pressure outside the foundation—often caused by poor drainage, saturated soils, or freeze-thaw cycles—can place tremendous force against basement walls. As this pressure increases, walls may begin to lean, crack, or bow inward, compromising the structural integrity of the home.

At Foundation Restoration, we professionally install heavy-duty wall anchor systems to stabilize and reinforce affected foundation walls. The system consists of a steel anchor plate mounted to the interior wall, connected by a high-strength steel rod to an earth anchor embedded deep within stable soil beyond the foundation. By carefully tightening and adjusting the system, we use the stability of the virgin soil to counteract the pressure from the expansive backfilled soil; helping restore it toward its original position.

Proper installation is critical to the long-term performance of a wall anchor system. Our experienced team ensures each anchor is strategically placed, properly tensioned, and installed according to engineered standards to provide lasting stability. The result is a stronger, safer foundation that helps prevent further wall movement and protects your home’s structural integrity for years to come.
