Joshua Stith began his construction career in high school, where he studied construction management and blueprint reading through a home-building program. Immediately after graduating, he joined the Carpenters Union and began building residential homes, completing the union’s apprenticeship and becoming a journeyman rough framer after four years.

After an additional four years in the field, Joshua advanced to the role of foreman, where he led framing crews, interpreted architectural and structural blueprints, and oversaw the construction of multi-million-dollar custom homes. Through this work, he developed a deep understanding of structural systems, load paths, and how buildings are supported, reinforced, and lifted.

Leveraging this experience, Joshua transitioned into the foundation industry as a foundation inspector, where he focused on identifying, correcting, and preventing structural and foundation issues for homeowners. His ability to assess complex conditions and recommend practical solutions led to expanded responsibilities, and he was eventually placed in charge of the engineering department. In that role, Joshua gained extensive hands-on education in both structural engineering principles and geotechnical engineering.

As a result, his continued practice lead him to being one of the industry’s leading experts in residential foundation repair. He has now spent over 30 years in the foundation and construction industry, combining field experience, engineering knowledge, and leadership to help homeowners protect and restore the structural integrity of their homes.
