Along with the compromised foundation, we had found that the soil in the area had a high water table. Due to this, we would not be able to dig a traditional foundation. Instead of digging a traditional 42 inch footing for the foundation, we were limited to nearly half the depth, only being able to dig a 22 inch footing. To give additional support to the new foundation we designed a concrete and steel layout of beams that was placed upon new helical piers placed in the footings. By doing this, a solution was created to not only combat foundation settling but also protect from future damage.
In the end, as seen by the pictures below, we were able to construct a new solid foundation for the customer. From failing foundation to structurally sound, their home was now much safer, eliminating any worry.
